So, you’ve stumbled upon my blog. Congrats!
Maybe you’ve got a bad case of wanderlust or maybe you just really like stationery. Whatever brought you here, welcome!
The main topics of this blog will be higher education, international education, how to stay organized in school, study hacks, and travel. But, since it’s my blog, anything goes! (Though I will try my hardest to stay on topic)
So, let me introduce myself. I’ll be starting a Masters program in College Student Personnel this fall with a focus on international higher education. I’ve also got an assistantship with my university’s Education Abroad office where I hope to create a re-entry course, help students with their study abroad questions, and more!
I graduated from college in 2010 and since have worked as an English teacher in Japan, a legal assistant in an immigration law firm, and a patent paralegal.
Since I’ve been out of school for a few years, I’m definitely nervous to be starting a graduate program and part-time job at the same time. Therefore, I need to be at my most organized to pull this off. This is where stationery comes into play (planners, to-do lists, pens, and highlighters).
My goal is to post how I’m staying organized during grad school, great study hacks I’ve found, interesting articles on international education, and general posts on the state of the world. I hope some of those posts will be of use to future international educators or other grad students.
Of course, I’d love to hear about how other people stay organized during grad school, so please feel free to leave comments!
Lastly, I’ve also linked my Tumblr on the right-hand side bar. Feel free to follow me there as well!
Hope you enjoy!
